Health-seeker was created especially as a part of the UKPHA Forum 2010, held at the Bournemouth International Conference centre by Joe Stevens.
Joe is an artist and designer, whose relationship to sound and visual art was a vital and key component to create and share this map of the arts and health projects happening in the UK. Through this sound mapping project, we aim to facilitate a dialogue between people from a wide variety of communities and backgrounds - from community members to professionals.
Maps are tools for understanding the world from different points of view -- political, cultural, personal, and historical. Maps hold the power to shape the truth about the world and mapmakers shape the future.
