our surroundings
I am currently exploring two photography projects that look to document our lived environment and I have just finished some photography work for the planning dept at WDDC, where I had to record the townscapes outside the conservation area. I am interested in how are environment comes into existence and the marks we leave behind. That it’s our surroundings that help shape who we are and how we feel. And the more detached we are from our environment, the more disengaged we become from ourselves.
