O Colecionador de Sons

audiolab 10: the language of space is on radio program ‘O COLECIONADOR DE SONS’ (THE SOUND COLLECTOR)

3 different soundwalks from PVA MediaLab to The Salt House, West Bay were undertaken as part of audiolab 10: the language of space. The results were mixed and presented at Bridport Art Centre the following week. These recordings have now been pulled from the archives and played on O Colecionador de Sons (Rádio Zero / RUC / SFC).

This was a recent commission from the National Trust to capture the soundscapes of Ringstead. The NT issued these soundscapes on memory stick and according to Ben Dames, who mans the information vehicle for National Trust @jurassiccoastin they have proved very successful.
