Street markets are a living, breathing part of London’s history. They are part of the fabric of the city and each market reflects the character of its neighbourhood. For hundreds of years markets have provided livelihoods for people living in London and a source of affordable (and sometimes luxury) produce and items.

A Silent Swaying Breath

SoundFjord, together with Audio Gourmet’s Harry Towell and Bartosz Dziadosz, came together to curate an album created “by the people, for the people”, to raise funds for those affected by the the recent riots in London.

The finished album, A Silent Swaying Breath: A Public Record, was released on 17th October. All profits raised by sales of this album go towards assisting those that have lost their homes and livelihoods and to provide opportunities for philanthropy, creative expression and collaboration within local community projects.

My work, Saturday morning fry up, has been chosen to be included in SOUNDkitchen’s HOME and METAL installations at Supersonic.
