how would you classify Dartmoor?

I’m working with young people who live on, or near to, Dartmoor. I have asked them to answer “would you classify Dartmoor as a theme park or a wilderness? They will be undertaking some research into Dartmoor and then together we will visit this place and do so fieldwork, before coming up with an answer.

Making interpretative and subjective maps

I worked with 30 children from South Dartmoor Community College; together we collaborated on creating on mapping their emotional landscape. Seven maps were created in all and were the product of a course – Emotion Mapping – I helped devise in consultation with the art and media depart at the school.
